About Partners in Public Dialogue

Since the 1773 mass protest meetings that led to the Boston Tea Party, Old South Meeting House has served as a gathering place for discussion and celebration and a haven for free speech. In the spirit of this tradition, Old South Meeting House, a museum and National Historic Landmark on Boston’s Freedom Trail®, offers non-profit and community organizations with qualified educational, cultural or civic events an opportunity to collaborate in presenting these events to the public.

The Partners in Public Dialogue program is designed to support organizations in presenting quality programming on the public stage at Old South Meeting House, a beautifully restored and active museum and historic site. These events involve a high degree of collaboration between Old South Meeting House and the partnering organization. Qualified events may include performances, forums, lectures, or other creative explorations of civic and cultural themes.

For more information about the Partners in Public Dialogue program, or to see if your event may qualify, please contact our Director of Marketing and Events at (617) 482-6439 or by email
